How do I use NoSpace to clean my text?

Using NoSpace is simple:

  1. Open the app and paste or type your text in the input area
  2. Tap the "Remove Spaces" button
  3. Your cleaned text will appear in the result area
  4. Use the "Copy Result" button to copy the formatted text

You can also enable auto-clipboard reading in settings to automatically load text when you open the app.

Is my data safe? Do you store my text?

Your data is completely safe. NoSpace processes all text locally on your device. We don't store, transmit, or have access to any of your content.

  • All processing happens on your device
  • No data is sent to our servers
  • History is stored locally on your device only
  • No internet connection required

How do I manage my processing history?

NoSpace automatically saves your processing history for easy access:

  • View History: Tap the "History" tab to see all your processed text
  • Reprocess: Tap "Reprocess" on any history item to process the original text again
  • Copy Results: Tap "Copy Result" to copy the processed text
  • Delete Items: Swipe or tap the delete button on individual items
  • Export History: Use the export function to save your history
  • Clear All: Use "Clear All" in settings to remove all history

Can I customize NoSpace settings?

Yes! NoSpace offers several customization options in the Settings tab:

  • Auto Read Clipboard: Automatically load clipboard content when app opens
  • Auto Copy After Processing: Automatically copy results to clipboard
  • Processing Complete Reminder: Show/hide completion notifications
  • Save History Records: Enable/disable automatic history saving
  • Maximum Record Count: Set how many history items to keep (5-50)
  • Processing Delay: Adjust processing animation timing
  • Animation Effects: Enable/disable interface animations

What types of spaces does NoSpace remove?

NoSpace intelligently handles various spacing issues:

  • Multiple consecutive spaces: Reduces to single spaces
  • Leading spaces: Removes spaces at the beginning of lines
  • Trailing spaces: Removes spaces at the end of lines
  • Mixed whitespace: Handles tabs, multiple space types
  • Line break preservation: Maintains intentional line breaks

The app preserves the overall structure of your text while cleaning up unwanted spacing.

Does NoSpace work offline?

Yes, completely! NoSpace is designed to work entirely offline:

  • No internet connection required for any functionality
  • All processing happens locally on your device
  • History and settings are stored locally
  • Perfect for use on airplanes, in remote areas, or when preserving data

How do I export my data?

You can export your data in multiple ways:

  • Individual Results: Use "Copy Result" buttons to copy specific processed text
  • History Export: In the History tab, use the export function to save all history
  • Settings Export: In Settings → Data Management → Export Data to save everything
  • Format: Data is exported in JSON format for easy importing elsewhere

The export includes your processing history, settings, and timestamps for backup or analysis.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

App is not processing text correctly

  • Try force-closing and reopening the app
  • Check if you have the latest version from the App Store
  • Clear the input field and try again with fresh text
  • Restart your iOS device if the issue persists

App crashes or freezes

  • Force-close the app and reopen it
  • Update to the latest version of NoSpace
  • Update your iOS to the latest version
  • If processing very large text, try breaking it into smaller chunks
  • Clear app history if it's very large (Settings → Clear All Data)

Clipboard features not working

  • Grant clipboard permissions in iOS Settings → NoSpace
  • Try copying text again and using the "From Clipboard" button
  • Check if "Auto Read Clipboard" is enabled in app settings
  • Some apps may prevent clipboard access - try copying from a different source

History not saving

  • Check if "Save History Records" is enabled in Settings
  • Ensure you have available storage space on your device
  • Try processing a small text to test if history saving works
  • If history is full, it might be auto-deleting old records based on your limit setting
